Preliminary information

The application form must be accompanied by:

  1. Copy of an identity document or passport (formats .pdf, .png, .jpg);
  2. A recent high resolution photo (formats .png o .jpg);
  3. Artistic Curriculum;
  4. Link to the video for the First Round Online (to be uploaded on the YouTube digital platform in public or unlisted form).

The Form is divided into 5 sections:

  5. Disclaimers and Payment

Two payment methods are available: Credit Card or Bank Transfer.
For Bank Transfer, it is required to attach the receipt issued by the operator on the last page.

Credit card payments will be possible after completion.

At the end of the filling, you will have the possibility to check again the entire form.

A confirmation email will be sent within 24 hours from the reception of the form and will contain a summary of the form itself. In case of non-compliance of the form with the Rules, you will be contacted by the Secretariat within two days.

Notes for Compilation
Each piece submitted must be entered in a single line.

  1. From the “Composer” drop-down menu, select the author whose work you intend to submit. If it is not in the pre-filled list, select “other” and manually enter the composer's First Name and Last Name.
  2. In the “Composition” field, indicate the precise name of the work, possible cataloging and tonality. Also indicate whether only excerpts or movements are performed.
  3. In the “Duration” field, indicate, in minutes and seconds, the expected duration of performance.
  4. To add a new line, thus a new composition, press the + key. This will update the minute total and make it possible to enter a new work.
  5. The ≡ key can be used to change the order of the pieces entered. This order must be the order of performance elle Tests in attendance in Verona.

First Round

Duration: min. 20 minutes - max. 30 minutes

Please submit one or more videos (maximum 3) containing a program that includes:

  1. One or more works chosen from: Johann Sebastian Bach, Franz Joseph Haydn, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Ludwig van Beethoven, Franz Schubert.
  2. One or more works chosen from: Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Fryderyk Chopin, Robert Schumann, Franz Liszt, Johannes Brahms, Sergej Prokof'ev, Sergej Rachmaninov, Maurice Ravel, Aleksandr Skrjabin, Igor Stravinsky, Karol Szymanowski, Dmitri Shostakovich, Olivier Messiaen.
  3. Free choice to complete the program.

Semifinal

Duration: min. 25 minutes - max. 30 minutes

The program must include:

  1. One or more works by: Franz Schubert (except for the Sonate), Fryderyk Chopin, Robert Schumann, Franz Liszt, Johannes Brahms.
  2. One or more works by: Milij Balakirev, Modest Musorgskij, Isaac Albeniz, Claude Debussy, Ferruccio Busoni, Aleksandr Skrjabin, Sergej Rachmaninov, Maurice Ravel, Manuel De Falla, Nikolaj Metner, Béla Bartók, Igor Stravinskij, Karol Szymanowski, Alban Berg, Dmitrij Šostakovič, Sergej Prokof'ev, Olivier Messiaen, Samuel Barber, Henri Dutilleux, György Ligeti.

Solo Final

Duration: min. 45 minutes - max. 50 minutes (60 minutes allowed for special cases)

  • Franz Schubert - D.537, D.568, D.575, D.664, D.784, D.845, D.850, D.894, D.958, D.959, D.960, D.840

Extended duration (up to 60 minutes) allowed for:

  • Candidates competing for "Veneto Musical Identity Award"
  • Candidates performing: Beethoven Op.106 or Schubert D.850/D.894/D.958/D.959/D.960

Pieces performed in elimination/semifinal rounds cannot be repeated.
